Bob was in my home room with the teacher in charge being worm Weiberg.  ( I actually liked Mr. Weiberg so I am not sure why he was called worm).  Once Bob and I went up to fill our fountain pens at the same time at Worm Weiberg's desk.  We both happened to get ink all over ourselves and so we were told to go to the washroom to clean up.  This turned out to be a fun experience as we walked around the halls and talked.  Needless to say we found this to be so much fun that we continued to fill our pens at the same time.  This led to some dances, one in particular where I remember Bob walking me around in circles saying walk faster or we will turn into butter.  I found Bob to be mysterious and fun although I can't really say I ever actually knew him.

Bob and I were both pole vaulters. He always out jumped me. After DOOP, he went to Knox and I went to Monmoth. We continued our rivalry in that freshman year.

At football games, Bob had the pair of pom poms that were short with prunned waving things. He would lead cheers from the stands. I think there may be a photo of him in Tabula.

He was zany. Lets hope the years he had were rich and meaningful.

Bob and I attended kindergarden through OPRF, then I lost track of him.  I'm sad to learned that he passed away.  I looked for his name on the Viet Nam Memorial in May, but did't find it.  RIP my old friend.
