May's family came to this country from Norway. After graduating from Lincoln School and OPRF, she went back to Norway and met her husband who is also deceased.
At our Lincoln (OP) 50th reunion in 2009 I was several back in the registration line when I heard a voice I hadn't heard in about 35 years at the front of the line and then noticed she was talking to a lady with her that could only have been Mona, May Moller's sister also from many moons ago. May was still one of the nicest and kindest people I've known in my life and we knew each other immediately. That evening was the last time we communicated I'm sorry to say. Please be resting in peace my friend...
She was a sweetheart as I remember! Not sure if she was in Murphy homeroom and I don’t have my book with me to see home room pictures. Will check when I get home. So sorry to hear of her passing.
I have many fond memories of May in grade school. We had some fun times playing games. Mary Beth Ekstrom and Suzanne Dannenberg (deceased) were part of our little group. She was a very kind and gentle person. I will always remember the time that May and I went out to Arizona to visit Mary Beth before one of our reunions. We reminisced about old times.
