My condolences and sympathy go out to Carol's family. I would bet that she is a very special and well-remembered teacher to her many students. She was truly one of the nicest girls in our class!
I was so very sad to hear of the death of my dear friend, Carol. She and i grew up together, as our Mom's were best friends. Carol and I each had an older sister, and they were the same age, and also best friends. I have many fond childhood memories of Carol and her Mom and sister. We would celebrate birthdays, and we had so many wonderful times together. So I guess you could say we have been on life's journey together for all of our 70 years....even though I left the Mid-West many years ago. We have kept in touch all these years, and I will miss her! I remember Carol so well from 6th thru 8th grade at Lincoln School that, as Arlene said, she was without fail always one of the very nicest and considerate people in our class. Condolences to Carol's family.
